Surf and Turf Baby Quilts

As many long arm quilters do, I donate my services to different causes. These include Quilt of Valor and Baby Quilts for local charities. As part of the Johnson County Quilt Guild’s efforts, I quilted these cute Surf and Turf Baby Quilts.

These are the cutest quilts! Angie Kalnins put a lot of effort and no less creativity to make these beauties.

E2E Quilting

Each of these quilts had a different flavor – this is why I call them Surf and Turf. The Whale quilt has cute applique and an underwater feel. Because of this, I used Oodles of Doodles pattern that looks like bubbles.

OODLES OF DOODLES

The close up images below really show this.

The second baby quilt I dubbed Jungle Baby and it includes adorable jungle animal prints

The E2E for this one represents large jungle leaves.
Fan Tails

I love the texture of this design.

Quilt Backs

Both of these quilts were lucky enough to show the quilting well on the back. This makes these almost reversible!

Any baby would love to receive these adorable quilts. I am sure they will be cherished for generations.
