The perfect theme for a T-Shirt Quilt is Sports. Sports T-Shirt Quilt is one with tons of wonderful images and memories.
Here is another un-stabilized quilt but this time we have batting and a cotton backing fabric. I can imagine piecing this top had to be a challenge. The Grey shirts tended to be so much thinner. The piecer used a surger to put these different panels together which had to be interesting.
E2E Quilting
Shooting stars worked well as an all-over E2E.
For sporting events, this E2E is perfect! There are so many different sports that picking just one would not have been right.
Quilt Back
The border and backing is a very dramatic mottled red cotton. It is easy to see how pretty the Stars look in white thread. Front or back, this quilt is so nice.
This is number 2 of 3 T-shirt quilts for one client. Each one is special and has so many memories.
