I was going to do these as separate posts. Then I thought it would be fun to see all the JCQG Mystery Quilts 2023 that I quilted this year in one place. Mine is included.
My Mystery Quilt
I created my own mystery quilt using all scraps and fat quarters. I wanted it to be truly scrappy. Some of the fabrics were not as sturdy as I would like so a little movement ensued. I finally took this as a sign and purged all the sub-standard fabric from my stash.
Yes, tears were shed but I survived.
I also opted out of the provided applique portion of this challenge. Instead, I embroidered butterflies and bees everywhere. I love this part.
Debbie L's Quilt
The first Debbie sent over such a pretty quilt. I love the teals the most!
Debbie E's Quilt
Debbie E’s quilt is a star in purple!
E2E Quilting
All 3 quilts were quilted in a different Edge to Edge Pattern.
Mine was quilted with Flowers and Bees and quilted with Glide Linen thread. And I finished the quilt with a cute label.
Debbie L chose Patina E2E Pattern and Glide Grey 3
Debbie E chose one of her favorite E2E patterns, Hypnotic and Glide Cool Grey 3 thread as well.
