Hearts of Hope

Do I need to say it again? I love blue and yellow quilts. Of course, the reason for them now is sobering, this does not take away from their beauty. Hearts of Hope is a beautiful example.

You will also notice that the quilter also included a couple pillow tops that I had fun custom quilting.

E2E Quilting

I love how the Hypnotic E2E works to unify this quilt.

It is never a bad idea to add a circular pattern to an angular quilt.

As far as thread color goes, we considered two options. A pale yellow and powder blue. The yellow won out and looked lovely.

Also, I mentioned the pillow tops. I had a great time adding some custom quilting to these. There was enough backing to let them sit below the quilt.

Quilt Back

I am not very pleased with how the colors came out in the back image. The quilting was beautiful, but the fabric was actually equally vibrant as the front.
