DESCRIPTION:Are you the type of person who has more finished tops than finished quilts?  Not everyone is cut out for long-arm quilting\, and not every quilt can easily be finished on a domestic machine. \nWhether you routinely have quilts finished by a long-arm quilter or are considering your first\, there are many things to consider. \nIn this presentation\, I provide information from BOTH perspectives.  Having a great long-arm quilter can be akin to finding the right hairdresser.  \nTrusting someone to finish your beloved quilt top is no easy thing. \nAs always\, there are quilts to see and examples of some of the elements I discuss.

SUMMARY:Kerens Cotton Harvest Festival Quilt Show
DESCRIPTION:The Kerens Cotton Harvest Festival relives the excitement of harvest season that our cotton crop-picking history afforded to our small town. Our quilt show is a beautiful addition the festival and is held in The Stockton Venue Hall located in the center of Kerens and the festival. We open the quilt show Friday\, the day before the festival to allow people to drive up to view the nearly 100 quilts on display in the venue. On Saturday we are open to all who are enjoying the many vendors\, car show\, and street music who have parked in the festival parking lots. Our quilt show is open to all who care to display their quilt creation\, there is no charge to enter and this is a non-judged quilt show.
