I adore the colors that the creator used to make this Blue and Gold 2022 Mystery quilt for our guild. There is a perfect mixture of contrast and color. This was a joy to have on my long arm.
You may remember the quilt that I made this year. It was in purples and oranges. I also opted not to do the applique. This is a decision that I regretted later.

E2E Quilting
The E2E Pattern chosen was Dainty Lady Floral – a perfect fit for all the spring colors.
This pattern is a favorite of mine and many others as it never takes away from beautiful piecing yet is pretty on its own. Also, as you can see, white glide thread fit nicely.
Quilt Back
The backing fabric looks amazing with the flowers floating along the surface. Sometimes it is good to see the quilting from the back!
We have already started our 2023 Johnson County Mystery Quilt and I cannot wait to see it progress. Do you do mystery quilts?
