Both of these quilts were made with scraps in my “huge bag of scraps”. It is like a Mary Poppins bag. No matter how much I take out, it seems to stay full! This bag is over 26 inches deep and holds a lot of scraps.
The design for this came from a Pinterest inspiration. When I could not find a pattern for the X block, I created my own paper pieced one.
These scrap quilts are so fun to put on the long arm. There is endless opportunity to practice continuous curves and feathers. You can see this in the up-close image below.
I have so much fun quilting these scrap quilts. I let the music play and get lost in the fun.
